My Sister Katie organized a very special family Christmas advent calendar for these two sweet kiddos (and Clayton and Parker too). From what I understand there is a special book/activity for every day starting December 1st through Christmas Eve. She sent a giant box of individually wrapped and numbered books and the kiddos are to open one before bed every night for 24 nights. What a special gift for the entire family to be a part of and what LUCKY kiddos I have! This will also be a nice little break for the Mommy who will get a little break from planning Christmas activities, yahoo! And it will be SOOOO fun to blog! I promise they won't all be this long:)
On the first Day of Christmas....
They opened a book called Auntie Claus (which is coincidentally what we call Auntie Katie:) There was a sweet note inside telling them about what is to come for the next 24 days and that she is sending her love. She also sent instructions and templates for their fist letters to Santa, which we did on the spot and hung on the fridge for Santa to see.
